Creating spaces where self-discovery, empowerment, and transformation unfold with intention.

—HER STORY

I grew up as a Black girl in Montana.

Long before I had the language for it, I was navigating questions of identity, belonging, visibility, and difference. I understood what it felt like to move through spaces where few people shared my lived experience and where messages about who belonged, who mattered, and who was expected to succeed were often unspoken but deeply felt.

Those early experiences sparked a lifelong curiosity about people. Why do some people feel free to be themselves while others spend years hiding, adapting, or questioning their worth? How do our families, communities, institutions, and cultural narratives shape the stories we tell about who we are and who we can become?

Those questions eventually led me to earn a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and build a career spanning nearly two decades across mental health, education, restorative practice, and community healing. But more importantly, they led me to understand that many of the struggles we carry are not simply individual problems. They are often connected to larger systems, histories, and experiences of exclusion, marginalization, and disconnection.

I created Liberated Radiance from that understanding.

My work is grounded in liberation psychology, restorative practices, and the belief that healing is both personal and collective—political and spiritual. We cannot fully understand ourselves without understanding the social and cultural contexts that have shaped us. At the same time, we are more than the stories, expectations, and limitations those contexts may have placed and continue to place upon us.

Healing is an act of liberation.

For many of us—especially Black women and folxs of the global majority who have navigated marginalized or othered identities—the journey toward wholeness involves more than self-improvement. It requires reclaiming our voice. Trusting our own wisdom. Defining ourselves on our own terms. Creating lives and leadership practices that reflect who we truly are rather than who we have been expected to be.

Across classrooms, coaching conversations, restorative circles, retreats, and workshops, I have witnessed what becomes possible when people reconnect with themselves and one another. When they move beyond survival and toward authenticity. When they begin to see themselves not through the lens of deficit or limitation, but through the lens of possibility, brilliance, and radiance.

Through coaching, restorative practices, creative expression, and immersive learning experiences, I support people in that journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and transformation.

Because liberation is not only about changing ourselves.

It is also about creating families, workplaces, communities, and institutions where all people have the opportunity to thrive.

Your liberated self is calling.

I help you answer.
